I started my job carrier as a field Veterinary officer with the Mandate of offering Veterinary Ambulatory and Extention services. After the 8 years of field experience I decided to further my studies and moved my service from Ministry of Agriculture to College of Agriculture as a lecture and a researcher in the Department of Animal Health & Production where I tough for 4 years. I was appointed the Provost of the College with primary responsibilty of being the administrative and Academic Head.

In 2003, i was appointed member Borno State Executive Council and served in the Council for 2 years and later appointed Permanent Secretary with the Borno State Civil Service in 2009. I served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministries of Education & Health from 2009 – 2013. I was deployed to the office of the Head of Service, Governor’s office Borno State as Permanent Secretary January 2013. I was the National Facilitator Animal Health, National Programme for Food Security, Federal Ministry of Agric & Rural Development, Abuja Nigeria. I’m now the Director, Veterinary Medicine & Allied Products, NAFDAC Nigeria.

I’m the founder of Sril Group Ltd, an NGO that advocate to “INVEST IN AFRICAN AGRICULTURE as the solution to fight Global Hunger, Malnutrition & Poverty” The group also educates to join the campaign on the harnessing the non-oil resources of Sahel region of Africa with general emphasis on Agriculture & specific attention to Livestock including Fisheries. Sril Group is engaged in various aspects of advocacy geared toward improving Food Security and Economic well being of Families. I’m a practicing Veterinarian, Researcher and administrator.
